Rachael is the project manager of EcoHub. She brings nearly a decade of educational administration experience to Sporos, having served as an academic dean in her native state of Kansas before moving to Europe in 2015. She is an entrepreneur, a voiceover artist, and most passionately, a volunteer and humanitarian. An advocate for environmental and social justice from an early age, service has always been a core component of her life. She joined the volunteer community on Lesvos in 2016, focusing on shoreline response and environmental remediation before taking the lead at EcoHub in 2018.
She believes strongly in the power of nature to heal us mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, and is driven by the knowledge that coming together to serve the earth is one of the simplest, yet most powerful reminders of our common humanity.
