school gardens & aquaponics
Sporos is spreading its green knowledge to the elementary schools of Lesvos with two STEM projects. Once covid restrictions are lifted, we will be starting a program for school gardens where we will teach children permaculture and organic gardening. We will facilitate the designing and building the gardens, teach the children how to grow healthy, organic and delicious food and support them along the way. For the schools which do not have appropriate or sufficient space for a garden, we will provide, in collaboration with Garden Tower, a hydroponics alternative in the form of Garden Towers, because where there is a will there is always a way.
