Maria tzannetou
Maria Tzannetou is an agronomist from Lesvos. She graduated from the Faculty of Agriculture in Thessaloniki and her master studies were in Applied Geo-Informatics for Natural Environment and Hazards Management, in the University of Aegean (Mytilene). She has participated in many ERASMUS exchange programs during her studies in Portugal, Mexico, North Macedonia and Spain.

During the last few years, while participating in Permaculture projects in different locations, she did a study on “self-organized urban gardens” in Mexico City, which defined her. Maria has a keen interest in Biodiversity Conservation and Agroecology, because she sees it as a good way to combine food production and sustainability of the natural ecosystems. This current year, she became one of our Forest School assistant teachers and she is also doing her teacher training with the “School of Pedagogical and Technological Education” in Greece.
