Anastasia Lekka
Anastasia Lekka is an enthusiastic and driven environmental advocate, passionate about climate action and eager to contribute to creating a sustainable future. Her dedication to environmental issues began with her active participation in Model United Nations conferences during middle and high school at Anavryta Model Gymnasium and Lyceum, where she focused on decolonisation and environmental committees. These participations earned the Best Delegate award. Currently studying Environmental Science at the University of the Aegean, she is a core organiser of the university’s Environmental Team (EPOPA), where she works tirelessly to advance sustainable initiatives.

Beyond her academic work, she volunteers at ANIMA – Hellenic Wildlife Care Association, contributing her time and skills to wildlife conservation efforts. Anastasia has also co-authored an academic paper on an invasive mammal species in Greece. With a strong interest in resource gathering and archiving in online environmental spaces, her work focuses on sustainable agriculture, low-tech solutions, and social organizing. She is excited to bring her expertise, energy and commitment to Sporos, where she looks forward to driving meaningful change.
